“Seminar for Specified Skilled Workers” in Construction
FITS will hold a seminar for foreign nationals who enter Japan with a new status of residence “Specified Skilled Worker” and start working in construction field.
In the seminar, foreign national SSWs in the construction field can reconfirm their own employment conditions and deepen the understanding about the acceptance and protection system, so they can focus on work with a sense of security and can think about their future career as well.
＊For accepting companies with the Acceptance Plan for SSW in Construction accredited by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, it is obligatory to have them take this seminar after the acceptance of the foreign national SSWs.

JAC, the organization responsible for the acceptance operation of the foreign national Specified Skilled Worker, will cover the cost of the seminars to be held from March 1, 2023. Please see the JAC website for details and progressing measures.

For those companies who have applied and paid the fee but were not able to take the rescheduled seminar by February, FITS will guide you through the refund procedure.
